[It is not uncommon to see cattle or livestock lying in the road. At that point the world stops and road users have to wait. The peace and quiet of this place radiates from the surrounding green pastures.
Devon County Councilhas not forgotten about the recreational cyclist, with the option to cycle in one direction only and take the bike home by train. Proceeds from this idea are helping the entire county recover from the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak. The goal is to add more trails to attract tourists to the area. This will also improve air quality and private vehicles will be rarely seen. The entire coastline is covered by rail, which is used by a large portion of the population and tourists.

The New Forest National Parkhas the only operational tidal watermill in the UK. As a result, once again, a bit of a saving grace for nature. Campers go to the New Forest, but they can only pitch their tents on the campground grounds.
